Please forward the information to the parents of your team about our Gym Rats Rising Stars Camp for Grades 6 - 8, the cost is $200.00. August 8th and 9th, 2009 at The Greensboro Sportsplex, Greensboro NC. 27405
The Gym Rats Rising Stars camp, sponsored by Nike, is offering an excellent opportunity to attend an Elite camp for 6th, 7th & 8th grade boys. Each year there are thousands of players competing nationally and internationally to obtain basketball scholarships in the United States. In fact, statistics show that only 3 out of every 100 kids competing at the High School level will earn a scholarship to play basketball collegiately.
With this in mind, Gym Rats, sponsored by Nike, has created a National Elite camp series aimed at getting kids exposure at a young age as well as giving them a true sense of what it will take to obtain their dreams.
The camp will consist of intense on-court instruction with an emphasis on skill development along with off court instruction focused on the importance of performing in the classroom, setting goals and many other things that will be essential in order to earn a scholarship and compete at the collegiate level.
Each participant will receive an individual evaluation from Van Coleman, one of the USA's most noted talent evaluators. Mr. Coleman is the host for HoopMasters, and the basketball editor for CSTV. Throughout the camp, Van Coleman and several regional representatives will be hand-selecting kids in each age group that will continue on to the National Camp held in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Each camper MUST provide a player profile and have a parent or guardian sign the waiver before attending our camp.
Cost for camp is $200
